She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Colon and Lura Colon (Vanderveer); her husband Robert F. Porath; her children, John Porath and Kathy Boyer; her granddaughters, Bridgett Boyer and Melissa Ruffer; and her siblings, Virginia Kuney and Moris Colon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Karnes of Bryan, Connie Ruffer (Ned) of Coldwater and Karen Stucky (Bradley) of Bryan; her grandchildren, Casey Karnes, Amy Karnes (Nelson), Emily Karnes, Benjamin Woolace (Kinsey), Eric Woolace (Dawn), Tyler Woolace (Jamie), Justin Ruffer (Shaley), Colin Ruffer (Diana), Parker Ruffer (Conner), Rebecca Viers (Scott), Nicholas Miller (Jennifer), Angela Porath, Jessica James (Kevin) and Josh Boyer (Sally); her sister Betty Jean Siders of Bryan; and her pet Gypsy. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
