We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2026, at the age of 78, Jane E. Carpenter of West Unity, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jane departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jane. Though Jane may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Roose and Betty Roose (Collamore); and her brother William Roose. She is survived by: her sons, Matthew Kennedy (Amy) of West Unity and Jonathan Thim of West Unity; and her sister Mary "Pete" Hausch (Ron) of West Unity. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
