With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kaleb John Schaffner of West Unity, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kaleb left this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 23, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Schaffner and Vicki Schaffner of West Unity, Ohio; his brothers, Austin Schaffner (Tori) of Columbus and Jordan Schaffner of West Unity, Ohio; his grandparents, John, Ruth Burchett of Morral, Ohio, Denny and Elaine Schaffner of Fayette, Ohio; his aunts and uncles, Jackie Rufenacht of Fayette and Steve Burchett (Patty) of Parkville, Missouri; and his cousins, Gavin Rufenacht, Mataya Rufenacht, Luke Burchett (Allie), Katie Burchett and Lilly Burchett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lockport Mennonite Church (9269 Co Rd 21N, Stryker, OH 43557). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
