Vicky L. Vershum Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2025, at the age of 68, Vicky L. Vershum of West Unity, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Vicky may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Collins and Marlene Collins (Barrett); and her brother Steve Collins. She is survived by: her husband Mike Vershum Sr. of West Unity; her sons, Mike Vershum Jr. (Vanessa) of Delta and Scott Vershum of West Unity; her granddaughters, Kylee Vershum and Bree Vershum; and her sister Beth Collins of Toledo. She is also survived by dog "Miesha" and two cats.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home (202 N Liberty St, West Unity, OH 43570). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to the Williams County Humane Society.
