We announce the death of Curtis H. Tate of Westerville, Ohio, who passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orlia Tate and Juanita Tate; his wife Marlene Tate; his siblings, Orlia "Art" Tate Jr. and Ladonna Susan Tate; his brothers-in-law, Harry Grizzell and Ken Staub; and his son-in-law Thomas G. Scanlan.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Scanlan, Kevin Tate and Scot Tate (Christy); his sister Juanita Grizzell; and his brother-in-law Dan Staub. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
