He is survived by: his wife Theresa Thompson; his children, Tracey Boyer, David Thompson, April Kennington (Jeff) and Tara Madden; his grandchildren, Jazlyn, Kaylee, Logan, Jacob Boyer, Mason, Addison Kennington, Kenai Thompson and Sammy Thompson; his siblings, Debbie Norman (Tom), Linda Thompson (Rick Bonar), Dixie Styer (Bill) and Johnny Thompson (Kathy); and his nieces, Corrie Calendine (Nick), Cacie Jewell and Crista Gee (Craig).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel (637 OH-61, Sunbury, OH 43074). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mifflin Cemetery (218 Agler Rd, Columbus, OH 43230).
