He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frey and Annie Frey (Linton); his siblings, Mildred, Alberta, Pricilla, Geraldine, Betty Jane, Roger, Grant, George and Curtis; and his siblings-in-law, Paula and Ron Eddy.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. Yates; his children, Curtis Frey (Lisa), Douglas Frey (Linda) and Elizabeth Lindberg (John); his grandchildren, Tyler, Amanda Davis (John), Ava, Anna, Evan, Rachel, Camille and Caroline; his great grandchild Rhett Davis; and his siblings, Lillian and Shirley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
