He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark "Tommy" Tibbetts and Daisy "Bitty" Coffman Tibbetts; and his parents-in-law, Haywood and Mabel Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Brooks; his daughters, Cassie (Justin) and Rachel (Stephen); his grandsons, Caleb and Connor; his brother David Tibbetts; his sister-in-law Lorna Thacker; and his nieces, Shari Taynor (Bryan) and Kelly Vineyard (Michael).

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Genoa Baptist Church (7562 Lewis Center Rd, Westerville, OH 43082). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Greg's memory to the Humane Society of Delaware County or the American Cancer Society, honoring his love of animals and his courageous fight against cancer.
