With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Ruth Kitchen of Westerville, Ohio, who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rush Muncy and Launa Muncy; her husband George Lester Kitchen; her son Ricky Pernell; her sisters, Margie, Opal, Beulah and Ruby; Johnny, Earl, Riley and Alva.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Stephany Roseberry (Philip) and Jessie Kitchen; her siblings, Rosie Hartmann (Tom) and Tom Muncy (Merlyn); and her sisters-in-law, Diana and Rosanna Kitchen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the South Chapel (1346 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Troy Maynard Family Cemetery.
