It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Kirn of Westerville, Ohio, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Kirn (Matusz); his daughter Judith Spicer (Kirn); his parents, Frederick Kirn and Ellen Kirn (Delahanty); his brother Frederick; his sister-in-law Nancy Kirn; and his niece Cheryl Nye (Kirn).

He is survived by: his children, Dan Kirn (Julie) and Susan Bean (Steve); his grandchildren, Megan (Charles), Joe (Katelyn), Mackenzie (Tyler), Nicole (Dan), Casey, Jacob, Lizzy, Cameron, Colin and Brady; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Amelia, Brantley, Leila and Addison.
