It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Forkin Jr. of Westerville, Ohio, born in Warren, Ohio, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Sr. Forkin and Mary Forkin; and his sister Jean Louise Forkin (Molly). He is survived by : his wife Joan Forkin; his daughters, Bridgette Riddle (Steve), Kelly Lavelle (Roger) and Shawna Williams (Dave); his grandchildren, Shaun Calaway (Nick), Sydney, Sammi, Patrick, Lindsey, Nicolas, Maggie and Joanie; his brothers, Tom Forkin (Donna) and Bill Forkin (Sue); and his sister-in-law Patte Burgoon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hill Funeral Home (220 S State St, Westerville, OH 43081). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (313 N State St, Westerville, OH 43082).

I know how greatly he will be missed by his family and all who knew him. He had a great sense of humor and you could always finding him laughing.
