He was predeceased by: his former wife Carolyn Sue Self. He is survived by: his wife Alice; his son Josh; his daughter-in-law Remi; his grandchildren, Jenna and Jonah; his stepchildren, Jodi and Bruce Davy; his stepgrandchildren, Drew and Sara; his stepchildren, Matt and Ronae Thompson; his stepgrandchildren, Rod, Jake, Sam, Luke, Maddy and Abby; his stepchildren, Megan and Bobby Brandenstein; his stepgrandchildren, Johnny and Katie; and his sister Jacquelyn Self Thornburg. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Genoa Church (7562 Lewis Center Rd, Westerville, OH 43082). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
