He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Dillon and Ruth Dillon (Krupp); his siblings, Paul Dillon (Annabelle Baumgarder), Barbara Reed (Daniel) and Carol Bixler (Charles); his brother-in-law Dale Deitemyer; and his siblings' children, Greta Bixler, Gwen Waggoner, Richard Dillon and John Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Hoelscher (Lee) of Westerville and Stephen; his grandchildren, Kenya Dillon of Dayton, Isaac Dillon of New Bloomington, Nicholas and Emily Hoelscher of Westerville; and his sister-in-law Grace Deitemyer (Hellwig) of Rockville, MD.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (601 N Sandusky Ave, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351).
