We announce the death of Margaret Eva O'Daniel (Westerville, Ohio), born in Springfield, Kentucky, who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 92. Margaret will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Margaret will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Margaret will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Margaret’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph; her sister Bess; and her son Jeff. She is survived by: her sisters, Patricia Hamilton and Nancy Upton; and her children, Patrick (Maria), Christopher (Joyce), Elizabeth (Todd) and David (Tracy). She is also survived by six grandchildren and one amazing great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Church (313 N State St, Westerville, OH 43082). A reception will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Renaissance Hotel (409 Altair Pkwy, Westerville, OH 43082).
