He was predeceased by: his grandfather Robert; his parents, Robert W. Tener Jr. and Ruth Ely Tener; his sister Susan Voissem; and his brother-in-law Norman Voissem.
He is survived by: his wife Marilynn Tener; his son Bobby Tener (Abby); his grandsons, Joseph and Nicholas; his son Sean Tener (Molly); and his grandchildren, Graydon and Garrett.
