He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Weitzel and JoAnn Weitzel; and his sister Janet Zuber (Tom). He is survived by: his sons, Nathan Weitzel (Kourtney) and Jacob Weitzel; his sister Barbara Lent (Eugene); his grandchildren, Freya, Elara and Eliana; and his son Nate.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Humenik Funeral Chapel (14200 Snow Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
