He was predeceased by: his parents, George DeLong and Ida Mae DeLong (Haynes); and his brother Fred DeLong. He is survived by: his wife Karla DeLong (Kahler); his children, Tiffany DeLong, Geoff DeLong, Jennifer Sperry (Matthew), Matthew DeLong (Kristy) and Sarah Bills (Johnny); his grandchild Cayden Kocher; his children, Jack, Ryan Sperry, Max, Samuel DeLong, Olivia and Brendan Bills; his in-laws, Daniel and Marjorie Kahler; his brother Carl; and his sister-in-law Tina DeLong.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Genoa Baptist Church (7562 Lewis Center Rd, Westerville, OH 43082). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Big Walnut Education Foundation (Ways to Give (https://bigwalnuteducationfoundation.org), please include "Rollie DeLong Memorial Scholarship" in the memo line) supporting Big Walnut High School football players and the football program, honoring his lifelong dedication to education, athletics, and the next generation of leaders.
