She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Thomas Risser and David Lemley Risser; and her sister Jane Risser Bowman (Richard Stanton Bowman). She is survived by: her children, Craig David Mitchell, Scott Thomas Mitchell and Beth Mitchell Wirth (Michael David Wirth); her grandchildren, Nichole Vine (Christopher Vine) and Joseph Mitchell (Maridith Mitchell); her sibling's children, Christopher Bowman (Susan Ramser) and Jennifer Carter (Greg Carter); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Avery Carter (Ala'a Dabbas) and Austin Carter.
