He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Miksa and Helen Miksa; his sister Theresa; his brother-in-law Gary Maxwell; his parents-in-law, Leo and Alma Koba; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Koba, Jeffery Koba and Fred Skidmore.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Miksa; his children, Alana Velez, Matthew Miksa, John Miksa and Joseph Miksa; his daughter-in-law Sara Miksa; his grandchildren, Ava Velez and George Miksa; and his siblings, Maria Mrosek (Ervin), Cecilia McPhie, Helen Coughlin (Mark), Rita Pratt (Charles), Vince Miksa (Connie) and Peter Miksa (Jeanne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
