We bid farewell to James C. O'Connor (Westlake, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 21, 2024 at the age of 62. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.

He was predeceased by : his father William "Bill" O'Connor. He is survived by : his wife Magda Gomez; his children, Lissette Gomez and Brian Gomez; his mother Janice O'Connor; his sister Anne Slucky (Alex); his niece Katherine; and his nephew Peter Slucky.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery (6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
