She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Stephen Pallay; her children, Shelly Spitz (Mark) and Ryan Miller; her grandchildren, Alex, Maya Spitz, Miles, Maeve Miller and Nathan Driscoll; and her parents, Harold Giere and Hazel Giere.
