He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Calhoun; and his siblings, George C. and Christina Smith. He is survived by: his sons, George E. Wanhainen (Joyce) and John P. Wanhainen (Angela); his grandchildren, Kelsey, George, Jack and David (Luka); and his great grandchildren, Kyan, Summit and Bowman.
