She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Szabo and Stella Szabo; her husband Robert Sturm; and her son William "Kenny" Sturm (Diane). She is survived by: her children, Laura Kovacs, Lynn Pfeiffer (William), Robert Sturm Jr. (Sue) and John Sturm (Karen); her grandchildren, Megan, Katie, Mike, Christen, Evan, Kaleigh, Mia, Matthew and Eva; and her siblings, Rita Shary (late Walter), Edward Szabo (Gwen) and Cynthia Girdler (Ben). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
