She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Roach and Alice Roach; her husband George W. McCarthy; and her brother Sonny. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Shirak (Jim) of Avon Lake, Ohio, William McCarthy (Norma Kleem) of Berea, Ohio, Margaret McCarthy (Charles Kincaid) of Richland, Washington, Mary McCarthy of Avon, Ohio, Michael McCarthy (Cheryl Greer) of Cleveland, Timothy McCarthy (Shari) of Berea, Ohio and Richard McCarthy (Toni) of Richland, Washington. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
