He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Kovatch (Hiller); his children, Christopher Kovatch (Jennifer), Rebecca Kovatch and David Kovatch (Julie Moran); his grandson Floyd Kovatch; his sister Theodora Gideon (Kovatch); and his nephew Sean Gideon.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
