He was predeceased by: his father Richard J. Smith; and his grandparents, Andrew, Agnes Kovach (Smith), Edward and Olive Howell.
He is survived by: his mother Donna Smith; his wife Beth Smith; his sons, Eric Smith and Cory Smith (Lindsey); his sisters, Patty Serenari (Frank) and Kimberly Wilson; his grandchildren, Alise Smith, Kaitlin Smith, Tyler Hatfield, Nathan Smith and Addison Smith; and his great grandchild Elena Rumack. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
