She was predeceased by: her husband Ragaie Kolta; her grandmother Mary Himes; and her parents, Michael Terek and Joan Terek. She is survived by: her pets, Molly and Izzy; her sisters, Paula Kawasaki (Dean), Michele Henes (Ed) and Patricia Solis (Ben); her siblings' children, Jennifer, Maggie, Laura, Jeffrey, Katie, Jill, Darcie, Emily, Ben and Tony; and her friends, Susie Williams (Carl Yood), JoAnn and Andy Lee. She is also survived by her family, friends, and animals.
She was the recipient of the 2017 Living Angel Award from the American Cancer Society.
