“I worked for Tommy in The First District of the C.P.D. when I was transferred in June of 1981. What a great boss and friend to me. Just a genuinely nice guy. And he was not just a supervisor he was also a street cop. He would put on his gun belt and lead from the front. I felt very lucky to know and work with him. I also played a lot of golf with Tommy. He was always happy and upbeat. I'm sure his family and loved ones will miss him terribly. R.I.P. my brother in blue.”
