He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. and Mary A. DeCore; his wife Mary Ann; his daughter Marie Ann DeCore; and his brother Joseph DeCore (Marilyn "Marty").

He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Carol Harris (James), Robert Pavlik (Sharon) and David Pavlik (Helen); and his sibling's children, John DeCore (Richard), Catherine DeCore, Michael Decore (Lori), Jacob Harris (Audrey), Malisha Dickson (Michael), Rachelle Ciomcia, Matthew Ciomcia (Rachel), David Pavlik (Joy) and Amanda Pavlik (Daniel Lyman).
