She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Blevins and Daisy Collins Blevins; and her husband Elmer Carter. She is survived by: her son Donald Carter (Anna Johnson); and her siblings, Bennie Blevins Jr., Chester Blevins, Buelah Stanley and Marie Hutchinson. She is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
