It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Ray Sweeney of Wheelersburg, Ohio, born in South Shore, Kentucky, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Sweeney and Nana Lea Boggs Sweeney; his wife Tamara Sue Sweeney; his brother Mike Sweeney; his granddaughter Savannah Dawn Sweeney; and his great grandchild Ariya Crace.

He is survived by : his children, Tara Jordan (Fred) of Wheelersburg, Christian Sweeney (Sherrie) and Sean Sweeney of Ross County; his siblings, Randy Sweeney (Kim), Wayne Sweeney of Gallipolis and Sharon Bailey of Rosemount; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Delaney, Addie, Keegan, Alayna and Kaliyah.
