He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Therese Ann Doerr; his wife Connie Susan Doerr; and his sister Suzette Pauline Doerr. He is survived by: his son Bryan Doerr (Michael); his grandsons, Taylor (Kasey), Casey, Sammy and Jaxon Doerr; and his great grandchild Isla Doerr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home (11623 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH 45694). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (2167 Lick Run-Lyra Rd, Wheelersburg, OH 45694).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Gary's honor to Wheelersburg Football or Wheelersburg Basketball, 800 Pirates Drive, Wheelersburg, OH 45694.
