He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Collins (Fields); his son Steven Collins; his siblings, Martha, Denton, Earl, Bob and Floyd; and his stepsons, Jimmy and Jeff.
He is survived by: his father Elisha Collins; his wife Alta Collins; his son Paul Collins of Dearborn Heights, Michigan; his stepsons, Robert Ray of Portsmouth and Arthur Ray of Paintsville, Kentucky; his daughter Delphia Lowe of Portsmouth; his stepdaughter Connie Ray of Maine; and his sister Ellen Junkins. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Freewill Baptist Church (7788 OH-140, Wheelersburg, OH 45694).
