He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wheeler and Anna Wheeler (Taylor); his grandparents, Henry and Alice; his siblings, Billy Wheeler, Louise Selby, Evelyn Beverly and Charlene Shepherd; Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Tangela Wheeler; his children, Heath Adams of Wheelersburg, Lee Adams (Stephanie) of New Boston, Anna Louise Wheeler of Wheelersburg, Alice Wheeler of Wheelersburg, Charlene Barnet (Chester) of Franklin Furnace, Carie Lucas of Portsmouth and Melissa Howbert of Franklin Furnace; and his sister Phyllis Applegate of Maysville, Kentucky. He is also survived by grandchildren, as well as his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the D. W. Swick & Son Funeral Home- Wheelersburg (11901 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH 45694). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the D. W. Swick & Son Funeral Home (11901 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH 45694). A burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Memorial Burial Park (10556 Gallia Pike, Wheelersburg, OH 45694).
