It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sara Slack of Wheelersburg, Ohio, born in Greenup, Kentucky, who passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Floyd and Naomi Jordan Floyd; her husband Arva Slack; her children, Michael Slack I, Jerald Slack and Kathryn Slack; her siblings, Ralph Gill and Lolita "Toni" Gaither; and her granddaughters, Megan Slack and Katie Slack.
She is survived by: her children, Arva "Chip" Slack (Teri) of Columbus, Scott Slack of New Boston, Lolita Raynard of Sciotoville, Vernita Flannery (Mike) of Sciotoville and Carla Slack of Sciotoville; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Slack of Wheelersburg. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
At the family's request, memorial contributions may be made to the SOMC Hospice.
