She was predeceased by: her parents, Loren Shafer and Rosalie Shafer (Taylor); and her sister Janice Shafer. She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Angela Sweeney (Larry), Cynthia Cole and Brian McMillin; her grandchildren, Kelsy Bahr (Bryan), Emily Smith (Will), Richard Cole and Taylor Kelly (David); her great grandchildren, Grace Kelly and Eloise Smith; and her brother Gary Shafer (Carol).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Ohioans Hospice.
