She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis R. Japel; her brother James Beers Jr. (Mary Lou); and her parents, James Sr. Beers and Catherine Beers. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Heather), Michelle Carr (late David) and Marc; her grandchildren, Dylan (Jessica), Nicholas (Makala), Michael John and Jillian; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Juliette and Yurko; her sister Lori Zielinski (late Paul); her goddaughter Kathy Beers; and her daughter-in-law Carlie Japel.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brickman Bros. Funeral Home (37433 Euclid Ave, Willoughby, OH 44094). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Church (32114 Vine St, Willowick, OH 44095).
