It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vonnie L. Hoffman of Wickliffe, Ohio, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Vonnie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Vonnie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Halasy and Mildred Halasy (Cooper); her husband James Hoffman; her son Scott Donaldson; and her sisters, Donna Hammerlee and Karen Espinosa.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Scarnati and Mark Donaldson (Patti); and her sister Susan Pankus. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc. (306 Bessemer Ave, Grove City, PA 16127). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
