She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton B. Campion and Bessie Campion (Amons); and her siblings, Troy Wade, Philiss Hanline and Noma Lee Campion.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Bowers; her children, Sean Bowers and Amanda Smith (Zach); her grandchildren, Kayleigh Bowers, Leighton Bowers and Colton Smith; her siblings, Garry Wade (Janet), Jim Wade (Debbie), Ted Wade, Maurine Erwin (Roger), Nellie Martin, Melanie Neptune (Marvin) and Robin Singer; and her sister-in-law Linda Delamater. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
