He was predeceased by: his wife Helena; and his parents, Albert Ann and Rose Ann. He is survived by: his children, Rose Marie Zuber of Columbus, Jeffrey Heydinger of Arcola and Randall (Lisa Heydinger); his sister Alice Heydinger of Alexandria; and his children, Joseph, Brian and Rebecca. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Church or St. Francis School.
