He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gearheart and Dovie Gearheart (Handshoe); and his siblings, Christina Gearheart, Geneva Baldridge, Wanda Sue Jones, Quintin Gearheart, Glenn Gayheart and Randall Gearheart.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Gearheart (Garcia); his son Stan Gearheart (Gena); his grandchildren, Kendra, Kameron, Chloe, Christian, Taylor and Joe; and his sister Deborah Howell. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
