It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna B. Childers of Willard, Ohio, who passed away on May 21, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edna B. Childers to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Hicks and Ella Hicks (Centers); her husband John W. Childers; and her siblings, Midge Hughes, Nadine Fry, Mitchell Hicks, Bill Hicks, Bob Hicks, Jackie Hicks, Alden Hicks and Ernest Paul Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Montgomery of Raleigh, NC, Kim Reed (Bob) of Willard, Gordon Childers (Sue) of Dover and Gary "Bugsy" Childers of Plymouth, Ohio; and her siblings, Lenoka Yoakam, Charles Hicks (Ofilia), Larry Hicks and Jerry Hicks (Yvonne). She is also survived by five grandsons; two great grandsons and three great granddaughters; two great-great grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home (202 W Maple St, Willard, OH 44890). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
