He is survived by: his wife Teresa Tuttle Rose; his children, Eric, Carey Rose, Jennifer and Ryley Fenton; his grandchildren, Kourtney Shumaker (Adam), Britney Buckmaster (Jacob), Destiney Rose, Harmony Rose of Asher, Rose, Aubrey Fenton and Savannah Fenton of Sterling; his great grandchild Ivy Buckmaster; his siblings, John Rose (Audrey), Mary Rees (Denny), Richard Rose (Diana Giffin), Barb Eitle (Jerry) and Carol Kelsey (Ed); and his siblings-in-law, Terry Tuttle (Bobbie), Janet Hawblitz (Bob) and Celia Warren (Charlie).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Willard Conservation League or the Jim Ratliff Memorial Scholarship.
