She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Lockyer and Dolores Lockyer (Mitchell); her brother Steve Lockyer; and her stepdaughter Elaine Barman. She is survived by: her husband Dale I. Smith; her son Jeremiah Huffman (Alisha) of Willard; her stepchildren, Valerie Malicki (Russ) of North Fairfield, Adam Smith (Lanay) of North Fairfield and Hiram Smith (Maurine) of Willard; her stepson-in-law Kurt Barman; her granddaughter Claire Huffman; and her stepgrandchildren, Rosie, Violet, Milo, Lilac Malicki, Jayna, Landan, Madelyn Smith, Noah, Micah, Aliyah and Bekah Barman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
