We bid farewell to Joanne Dalton of Willard, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 16, 2026 at the age of 93. Joanne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Trauger and Mabel Trauger (Humphrey); her husband Fred Dalton; her granddaughter Alicia Atkins; her sisters, Evelyn Bishop and Loretta Sword; and her pet Buster.
She is survived by: her children, Denny Vanderpool (Jayne) of Willard, Brenda Bailey (Donnie) of Greenwich, Kim Vanderpool of Willard and Cheryl Atkins (Danny) of Willard; her grandchildren, Chris Whatman, Rachael Kruger (Kelly), Brad Whatman (Michelle), Craig Atkins (Stacia), Nick Atkins (Tania), Jim Vanderpool (Amanda), Sean Allen and Amanda Pickworth (Shawn); and her caregivers, Glenda Dye, Makayla Soules and Ashley Soules Carico. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church in Willard.
