He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Bailey and Ruby Bailey (Tackett); his stepfather C. B. Smith; his parents-in-law, Andy Inmon and Zora Inmon; his sisters, Sharon Hall (Jimmy) and Sue Bailey; his close friend Billy Ray Robinson; his brother-in-law David Inmon; and his nephews, Clinton Collins and Zach Inmon.
He is survived by: his wife Lola Inmon Bailey; his children, Larry Dean Bailey Jr. (Amy) of Stanton, Leslie Pope of Willard, Ohio, Leonard Bailey of Willard, Ohio and Lisa Bailey of Willard, Ohio; his nephew Clinton Combs of Willard, Ohio.; his sisters, Glenita Bailey of Aurora, Renetta Slone (Dwayne) of McDowell, Kentucky and Linda Robinson of Willard, Ohio; and his siblings-in-law, Billy Inmon (Kathy) of Dandridge, Cles Inmon (Betty) of Greenwich, Kenny Inmon (Shirl) of Garrett, Orville Inmon (Jeri) of Greenwich, Ohio and Judy Lillo (Dave) of Willard, Ohio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenwich Baptist Church (96 Townsend St, Greenwich, OH 44837). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
