She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Nickoli and Mable Nickoli (Myers); her husband Harold Fries; her children, Steven Fries and Stacy Fries; and her siblings, Kenneth Nickoli, Ruth Perkins, Gladys Stierhoff and Evelyn Nickoli.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Kraft (Dieter), Shirley Fries (Adam), Sheila Buurma (Mike) and Scott Fries (Marilyn); and her daughter-in-law Bobbi Featheringill (Dave). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
