He is survived by: his children, Tina Ruiz of Willard, Ohio, Melissa Alvarez (Lorenzo) of Willard, Ohio, Ruben Ruiz Jr. (Devon) of Galion, Ohio and Joan Samantha Eubank (James) of Del Rio, Texas; his close friends, Veronica Garcia and Nicanor Garcia Jr.; his grandchildren, Nayeli Ruiz, Beautifull Luevano, Aaliyah Luevano, Avianna Luevano, Lorenzo Alvarez Jr., Leonardo Alvarez, Lyonel Alvarez, Anna Ruiz, Bella Ruiz, Roman Ruiz and Avianna Eubank; his great grandchildren, Alciel Rocker, Yamila Rocker, Emerson Ruiz and Emmanuel Ruiz; and his siblings, Martin Ruiz (Benita), Yolanda Sandoval (Gaspar), Rosa Cervantes, Mercedes Sandoval (Andy) and Mary Guajardo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Secor Funeral Home (202 W Maple St, Willard, OH 44890). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
