We are sad to announce that on March 12, 2021, at the age of 88, Virginia E. Reel of Willard, Ohio, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy H. Schryer and Thelma Schryer (Thornton); her husband Charles A. Reel Jr.; her stepmother Juanita Rickett Schryer; her son Steven L. Reel; her grandson Steven A. Reel; and her sister Dorothy Chase.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Allen Reel (Kathy) of Auburn, IN, Barbara Anne Mann (Javis) of Norwalk and Peggy Jean Humphrey (Dale) of Shelby; her brother George Schryer (Gail) of Washington, N. C.; and her siblings-in-law, Dick Chase of Willard, Myrtle Funk of Willard and Georgia Kereluik of Detroit, MI. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 step-grandchild, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church or to Stein Hospice in Sandusky, Ohio.

“To all the Reel family. I sent a card to your Mom after Steve's passing. Then when my husband "Bob Browning passed she sent me a card and note. From that year on we exchanged Xmas cards. Sorry for your loss. Bob told me she always gave him extra food in the school cafeteria line!!. Missing Steve and Bob. Good memories never leave us! Jayne Browning.”
