It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter E. Tackett of Willard, Ohio, born in Salyersville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lonnie Tackett and Leone Tackett (Gullett); his wife Dolores "Ducky" Tackett (Kreim); and his brother Billie Joe Tackett. He is survived by : his daughters, Nancy Tackett of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Doane (Dean) of Columbus and Carol Gardner of Willard; his grandchildren, Amy Gardner and Glenn Gardner; his great grandchildren, Braelyn Gardner, Nathanial Crabtree, Taylor Gardner and Ryder Gardner; and his pet Bruno.
